Diana L. Brown has been a professional educator since 1988. She has a B.A. from Arizona State University and an M.A. from Northern Arizona University. As a classroom teacher, she realized that managing student behavior was the number one concern of educators. The majority of classroom management systems had children asking, “What do I get if I’m good,” or “What will happen to me if I’m bad?” The search was on to find a better way to interact with children and reconnect to the joy of teaching. Diana has been certified in Conscious Discipline® by Dr. Becky Bailey since 2002. She also holds certification from Jensen Learning Corporation in Brain Based Learning. Diana provides workshops and consultation for educators, caregivers and parents. With two teenage daughters and 24 years of classroom experience, Diana shares Conscious Discipline® with engaging stories and humorous observations throughout Arizona and the Southwest.
